Van Gogh Museum
Did you know Vincent van Gogh only sold one painting during his life? Now he is famous all throughout the world. Walk through the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. View the exhibition and admire famous paintings like the sunflowers, potato eaters and his self portrait. Many of his colourful paintings were made in the south of France. His dream was to live there with a group of artists. In the end only Paul Gauguin visited him there.
Versailles
The sun kings palace has been a Unesco World Heritage site for 30 years. Visit the palace in Versailles and walk through the halls and famous gardens. For many people MoMA or Museum of Modern Art in New York is number one on the list of museums they want to visit. A collection that once began with 8 prints and 1 drawing now has over 150.000 art pieces. The collection includes pieces by famous artists like Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso and again Monet and Van Gogh.
British Fashion Council
At the British Fashion Council they give a platform to designers. Discover the story of designers and fashion brands like Alexander McQueen, Burberry and Manolo Blahnik.
The MET
