Flower parade
17th of April 2021
People come from all around the world to visit our “Bollenstreek” the area with all the bulb flower fields. Every year they host a flower parade called “Bloemencorso”. What makes this parade unique, in comparison to other flower parades, is the use of bulb flowers like tulips, hyacinths and narcissus. The parade consists of approximately twenty floats and more than thirty carriages that are richly decorated with luxury flowers. The procession is accompanied by marching bands for an extra festive feel. Each year there is a different theme. Along the entire route, there is enough space for the many hundreds of thousands of visitors. Want to be sure to have an excellent view? Book one of the arrangements with a place on one of the stands along the route.
Inntel Hotels Tip: Combine the flower parade with a visit to Keukenhof.
Keukenhof
Back in 2021
The premier place to see all the splendor and beauty of flowers is Keukenhof. In spring Holland is extra busy, because of all of the people wanting to see the flowers. The best place to do that is Keukenhof. With over 7 million flower bulbs on 32 acres of land it is the biggest spring garden in the world. It is an attraction that is only open for a short time every year. Besides the spectacular flower fields, there is more to discover. You can go on a boat tour, there are art pieces, a playground and a meadow for animals. Fun for all ages!
The Keukenhof will not open in 2020. They still want to share all their splendour with you. Follow their Facebook page for movies in the park.
Inntel Hotels Tip: The busiest time of the day is between 10.30 and 16.00 o’clock. If you want to avoid crowds go before or after those times.

Keukenhof is located between Amsterdam and The Hague and is easily accessible via the A4 (exit Nieuw-Vennep) and the A44 (exit 3 Lisse).
