Happy Birthday Amsterdam in H’ART Museum

From 4 December, H’ART Museum will host the exhibition ‘Happy Birthday Amsterdam’. This exhibition celebrates Amsterdam’s 750th anniversary. Our capital city is known as the city of the free and creative spirit. And which is a cultural breeding ground for artists from all over the world. ‘Happy Birthday Amsterdam’ presents a colourful collection of art by 75 artists, past and present. A festive ode to the city and the makers who lived, worked and resided there. The collection is special, diverse and colourful. Highly recommended for all visitors and residents of Amsterdam.

PHOSPHOR: Art & Fashion in FOAM

Foam presents a large-scale retrospective of fashion photographer and visual artist Viviane Sassen. The exhibition PHOSPHOR: Art & Fashion showcases more than 200 works.  An inspiring mix of photography, collage, painted prints and video art.

Her work has been featured in numerous publications such as New York Times Magazine, Numéro and AnOther magazine. She has also collaborated with well-known fashion brands, including Miu Miu, Louis Vuitton, Dior and Hermès. A real must-see for lovers of fashion and photography. On show until 12 January at photography museum Foam.


Vermeer tot Van Gogh, Dutch Masters in Fabrique des Lumieres

Since its opening, it has been an instant success. At Fabrique des Lumières, art comes to life. The ‘Vermeer to van Gogh’ exhibition is a tribute to the Dutch masters of the Golden Age. This compelling exhibition presents more than 325 paintings by some 50 different painters. Also on show are the exhibitions ‘Mondrian: an excess of colour’ and ‘Infinite Horizons’.
