Zaanse nature is beautiful and picturesque. The town was a great inspiration for the famous French painter Claude Monet.  At the MonetAtelier in Zaandam, replicas of his 25 Zaan paintings are on display. The collection of paintings offers a unique glimpse of Monet’s work and at the same time an impression of Zaandam in 1871.

The guided Monet walk takes you past places where the artist painted. This will introduce you to the stories behind these masterpieces. From Inntel Hotels Amsterdam Zaandam, you can walk along the Gedempte Gracht to the MonetAtelier in ten minutes.

Zaantheatre
For a cultural night out, head to the Zaantheatre. This theatre has a wide, varied offer. From cabaret, opera, dance, musical, concerts, plays, to international shows and youth performances: there is something for everyone in the beautiful, modern building on the Zaan.
